Good luck!

Guidelines for Responses

  • Fluency and Coherence: Speak smoothly at a steady pace. Try to connect your sentences logically.
  • Lexical Resource: Use a range of vocabulary suitable for a beginner. Try to be as descriptive as possible.
  • Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Use basic grammar structures correctly. Pay attention to verb tenses, articles, and prepositions.
  • Pronunciation: Speak clearly. Work on pronouncing words correctly, but don’t worry too much about having a perfect accent.

Since speaking tests are more subjective, we don’t provide our traditional answer key here. Instead, these guidelines can help teachers or test takers assess the effectiveness of their responses. The focus should be on the learner’s ability to convey ideas and information in spoken English.
